CR-180II

 A “Check Transport” device that can scan both sides of 180 checks per minute, it has the ability to read the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition or MICR characters on checks because of its already built-in magnetic head. Canon has an extensive reputation in document feeding performance, the CR-180 is one of the fastest devices in its class.

CR-55

The easy to use CR-55 offers high quality scanning in black and white, grayscale, or 24-bit color and resolutions up to 300 dpi. The CR-55 scanner can handle batches of 50 items at a time, and capture MICR data as well as images of both sides of checks at 55 checks per minute (U.S. checks, 200 dpi, B&W or Grayscale).

It comes equipped with Canon’s patented magnetic head, the CR-55 supports E13B and CMC7 MICR fonts. It also has a pre-scan imprinter which is a necessity for printing and capturing important endorsement information. The CR-55 is also equipped with Infrared Double Feed Detection and Paper Thickness Adjustment for paper feeding and image capture. It was designed for a wide range of check processing environments, the CR-55 has minimal training requirements.
